Making voice/videophone calls
Videophone
The videophone function is available between terminals that support DoCoMo's videophone.
Phone conversations can be made between FOMA terminals while looking at the other
party's image using videophone. It is also possible to send still images, substitute images,
Chara-den, etc. instead of camera image.

The following 2 connection speeds are provided for videophone:
64K
： Connects at connection speed of 64 kbps.
32K ： Connects at connection speed of 32 kbps.

Always enter the area code even when calling from the same city when
calling to a general subscriber phone.

A phone number with up to 80 digits can be entered.

Press
c
to correct phone number.

Press and hold
c
for 1 second or more to return to the stand-by
display.
You hear the dial tone. You can start talking as soon as the call is
answered. Call duration is indicated on the display.

If the phone on the other party is busy, you hear the busy tone. Press
f
to end the call and make a call again later.
･
If other party's mobile phone or PHS is turned OFF or in an area where
radio waves are hard to reach, a message is played informing that the
connection is not available.
