calls cost at 0:00 on the first day of every month.

INFORMATION

The duration of received calls or that for calling the
other party is not counted.
･
Transmission charge for Chaku-moji messages is not
included in call cost.
･
For PushTalk, i-mode and packet communications,
the communication durations or costs are not
counted. For the procedure for confirming i-mode
fees, refer to "Mobile Phone User's Guide [i-mode]".

When the FOMA terminal is turned OFF, the previous
call duration remains, but the previous call cost is
displayed as "
＊＊＊＊＊＊
YEN".
･
When last or total duration for the voice or
videophone call or data communication has
exceeded 9,999 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds,
counting restarts from 0 second.
･
When switching between voice and videophone calls
is made during talking, the last call cost will show the
total charge for each of voice and videophone calls.
Note that no call cost is charged while switching.

Even with Reset call cost set to "ON", the call cost is
not reset when the power is OFF or voice or
videophone call is being made at 0:00 on the first day
of the month. The call cost will be reset after the
power is turned ON or the call ends.
･
When Reset call cost is set to "ON" and a date and
time in or after the next month are set in Date & time,
the call cost is immediately reset.
･
When Reset call cost is set to "ON", PIN2 code is
required when turning the power ON or
authentication is required when setting date and
time.
･
Even with Reset call cost set to "ON", the settings are
canceled when FOMA terminal is turned ON with
different UIM inserted from one used when making
the settings.
Notifying call cost upper limit

When Total call cost has exceeded the set limit, it is
notified with an alarm and/or icon display, etc.

Alert:
Set whether to notify that the upper limit has
been exceeded.
Limit:
Enter the upper limit cost in the range of 10
yen-100,000 yen omitting the one's place.
Alert method:
Set to use both an alarm and icon or only an
icon for notification.
Alert sound:
Select the alarm from melodies to be used
for notification.
Alert time:
Set the period of time to sound the alarm in
the range of 1-60 seconds.
