Description
Use this function to enter a time constant for the reaction time of the output signal to
fluctuations in the measured value.

User entry
Use this function to enter a time constant (PT1 element
) for frequency output damping:
• If a low time constant is entered, the current output reacts particularly quickly to
fluctuating measured variables.
• On the other hand, the current output reacts more slowly if a high time constant is
entered.
Damping is switched off if
0
is entered (factory setting).
The frequency output is subject to separate damping that is independent of all preceding
time constants.

Displays the response time. This specifies how quickly the pulse/frequency/switch output
reaches the measured value change of 63 % of 100 % of the measured value change.
