8. Move to, and scroll the possible input gains until the required value is displayed in the left field:
[Gain(dB)=-14] Sens.=Line
Default value:
‘–14’ (‘–20’ for Miscellaneous Input)
Possible values: –63dB to 0dB (1dB steps)
Note:
The input gain of each audio input should normally be set so that all inputs are balanced, and
give the same output level on each of the outputs.
The default setting for an ASL microphone is –14dB. With ASL microphones any further volume
adjustments should be made using the output specific relative gains described in Section “
7.2.6
Input Relative Gain Configuration
”.
This should be set to ‘–15dB’ on Network Audio Channels.
Note that this adjustment works in real time, so it can be experienced immediately on any live
routes.
9. For Miscellaneous Inputs, move to, and toggle to the required line sensitivity option in the right field:
Gain(dB)=-14 [Sens.=Line]
•
[Sens.=Line]
Sets the input to sensitivity to accept line level signals.
•
[Sens.=Mic.]
Sets the input to sensitivity to accept microphone level signals.
Microphone level sensitivity adds 60dB fixed gain.
Note:
This should be set to ‘Line’ sensitivity on ASL Microphones and Network Audio Channels.
Default value:
‘Sens.=Line’
10. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
