14.2.4
Configuring a Routing Contact for Play Once Mode
This mode is only used for the control of DVA routes.
When configure for ‘Play Once’ mode, activating a ‘Play Once’ contact plays the DVAs associated with the
route once only. When the DVA has completed its full message cycle, the route is automatically terminated.
This could be used, for instance, to play a “Mind the gap” DVA triggered by a train mass detector.
In order to configure a ‘Routing’ contact for ‘Play Once’ mode proceed as follows.

2. Move to, and scroll the contact list until the required contact is displayed in the left field:
[Contact#nn] Routing Not-Surv
Default value:
‘Contact#01’
Contact numbers: 01 to 22 for VAR4
01 to 42 for VAR12
01 to 62 for VAR20
Where contacts: 00 to 10 are analogue
11 to 62 are opto-isolated
3. Press the SELECT key to display the routing configuration menu.
4. Move to, and select the
Control
menu item:
Zoning [Control] Clear-all
5. Move to, and select the
Latching
menu item:
[Latching] Busy=On DVA-Full
6. Move to, and toggle to the ‘Mode=Play Once’ mode in the left field:
[Mode=Play Once] ResetContact --

7. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
