Fault Clear Access Level

BS5839 Pt 8 recommends that you must be logged on to Clear Faults. The unit is shipped from the factory in
this condition.

However, in some circumstances, it is desirable to remove access control from this function. For example
during system commissioning phases where faults are frequently being reported.

At the responsibility of the end user, it is possible, via an internal DIP switch, to select whether or not the
Fault Clear function is under access (log-on) control.

To remove the Access Control from these functions:

1. DIP Switch-2 to ON.

2. It is then possible to Clear faults without having to log-on.
