Network Input Fallback
It is important to define a local DVA input to act as a fallback for each of the emergency network DVAs in the
event of network failure.
These DVAs will be programmed with the same messages as the associated network DVAs. This will ensure
that in case of a network failure during an emergency the emergency broadcast will continue, albeit no
longer in synchronisation across the whole site.
In order to configure the fallback inputs proceed as follows.

2. Move to, and scroll the input name list until the required network DVA input is displayed in the left field.
Network inputs are identified by the ‘Net-’ prefix:
[Net-Ctrl DVA1] Not-Conf
Default value:
MIC/LINE 01 (local)
Inputs:
VAR12: Local inputs: 12 Mic/Line 8 DVAs + 1 music + Mute
Network inputs: 8 Mic/Line 4 DVAs + 1 music + Mute
VAR20: Local inputs: 20 Mic/Line 12 DVAs + 1 music + Mute
Network inputs: 8 Mic/Line 4 DVAs + 1 music + Mute
3. Move to, and toggle to the required local DVA in the right field:
Net-Ctrl DVA1 [Not-Conf]
Default value:
Not-Conf
Local inputs:
VAR12: 12 input names + 8 DVA input names + 1 music + Mute
VAR20: 20 input names + 12 DVA input names + 1 music + Mute
Note:
The local fallback should be one of the local DVAs.
4. Repeat
steps

to configure each input.
5. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
