Fault Active Sounder:
This output is suitable for driving an audible fault indicator.
−
The output is deactivated if no faults are present, or if all faults have been acknowledged.
Therefore an audible indicator will be quiet.
−
The output is alternately activated and deactivated when faults are present that have not been
acknowledged.
Therefore an audible indicator will be beeping.
•
DVA Active Indicator:
This output meets the requirement of EN54-16 clause 5.1.b regards the provision of an emergency
broadcast indication.
−
The output is activated if an audio input of class ‘Low Emergency’ or ‘High Emergency’ is routed to
an output.
−
The output is not activated if all outputs are routed to ‘Non Emergency’ audio inputs, or are not
routed.
In order to configure the remote fault contact outputs proceed as follows.

2. Toggle to the required remote fault output:
[REMOTE FAULT O/P 1]
Default value:
‘REMOTE FAULT O/P 1’
Possible outputs: 1 and 2
3. Press the SELECT key to proceed, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
4. Scroll the available options until the required option is displayed:
[Remote Fault Active Sounder]

Remote Fault Active Sounder
Fault output is configured as a fault active sounder.
•
Remote Fault Active Indicator
Fault output is configured as a fault active indicator.
•
Emergency DVA Active Indicator
Fault output is configured as a DVA active indicator.
•
Not-Conf
Fault output is not configured and is unused.
Default values: REMOTE FAULT O/P 1= ‘Remote Fault Active Sounder’
REMOTE FAULT O/P 2= ‘Remote Fault Active Indicator’
5. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
Either will return to the remote fault output list on step
2
