5.2 VAR

The VAR ID is used by the system to differentiate between different VAR Routers on the network.

In order to configure the VAR ID proceed as follows.

1. Select

Configuration

System

Site

VAR-ID

2. Scroll the ID field until the required ID is displayed:

[VAR ID = 01]

Default value:

‘01’

Possible values: 01 to 30

Note:

For network operation the VAR ID must correspond to the VAR Router physical position in the

network.

3. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.

5.3

VAR Router Name

It is possible to assign a name to the VAR Router to identify the site. This is for reference only and is only
displayed through this menu.

In order to assign or modify the system name proceed as follows.

1. Select

2. Edit the VAR Router name as required using the arrow keys or the rotary encoder:

Default value:

blank

Possible values: alphanumeric string of up to 32 characters.

Note:

Note that it is only shown through this menu.

DEFAULT key sets the entire name to blank.

3. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
