Earth Leakage Reading

The earth leakage reading can be displayed, as described in the following steps.

1. Select

Tests

Status

2. Scroll and select a mainframe from the list:

[Frame#nn - ]

Mainframe: 01 to 63

Note:

Only configured mainframes are displayed.

The mainframe description will be shown on the right side of the display, if defined.

3. Move to, scroll, and select an amplifier from the slot list in the left field:

4. Move to, and select the

5. Move to, and select the

Earth Leak

menu item:

6. The earth leakage reading (ohms) is displayed:

Note:

A warning message will be displayed if an unused slot is selected.

The earth resistance fault threshold is 500k

Ω

. An earth leakage path of <500k

Ω

between either

conductor of the speaker circuit and ground causes a fault if the Earth Leakage monitoring is set
on. See Section “

6.3.4.4 Configuring an Loudspeaker Line Earth Leakage Monitoring

”.

7. Return to the parent menu by pressing the SELECT key, or the BACK key.
