6.3.3
Configuring a Mainframe Temperature Alarm
Each mainframe can monitor its ambient temperature if required, and will then report a fault if the
temperature exceeds the configured over-temperature alarm value.
In order to configure the mainframe over-temperature monitoring proceed as follows.
1. Select

2. Scroll and select a mainframe from the configured mainframe list:
[Frame#nn - ]
Default values: n.a.
Note:
If no mainframe is configured, then a warning message will be displayed.
The mainframe description will be shown on the right side of the display, if defined.
3. Move to, and select the
Temp
menu item.
Commission Description [Temp] Slot#n
4. Move to, and set the over-temperature alarm monitoring option in the left field:
[Not-Conf] Max Temp(°C)=70

Not-Conf
No over-temperature fault will be reported.

Config’d
A fault will be reported if the temperature exceeds the configured over-temperature alarm value.
Default values: ‘Not-Conf’
5. Move to, and scroll the temperature setting until the required over-temperature alarm value is displayed.
Config’d [Max Temp(°C)=70]
Default values: ‘70’
Possible values: 15 to 99°C
6. Commission the amplifier by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
The system will return to the parent menu after 3 seconds on pressing the SELECT key, or immediately
on pressing the BACK key.
