System Date / Time

The VAR Router features a real time clock, which is used for time and date stamping of log entries such as
fault reports. This is fitted with an internal Lithium battery so that the clock continues running without power
applied. The following procedure is used to set the date and time.

•

In a network system, the VAR Router date and time are automatically set by the Audio
Control Unit.

•

In a stand-alone VAR Router the date and time can be set by an attached PC/DVA or site
control system.
