12.2 Equalisation
Configuration
The 8-band equaliser can be configured for each output.
This operates on the frequencies: 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz, 6kHz, 8kHz, and 16kHz.
Equalisation of each output may be useful to obtain the best possible audio performance, given the specific
loudspeaker installation surface finishes, and shape of the zone.
In order to configure each of the bands of the equaliser proceed as follows.
1. Select

2. From V4.1.0470 or later, move to, and select the
Configuration
menu item.
[Configuration] Induction Loop
3. Scroll the output list and select the required output:
[O/P #1 - OUTPUT 01]
Default value:
output 1
Outputs:
4 outputs for VAR4
12 outputs for VAR12
20 outputs for VAR20
Note:
The output name is shown on the right side of the display. The output name above is the
output 1 default name, however this may have been changed according to each site’s
configuration.
Outputs 3, 4, 11, 12, 19, and 20 may have been configured as induction loop output, in which
case, please refer to Section “
13 Induction Loop Configuration
”.
4. Move to, and select the
EQ
menu item.

5. Toggle to the required option:
[Enabled]

[Enabled]
Enables the 8-band equaliser for the selected output. When equalisation is enabled the user can
scroll through the settings of each band.

[Disabled]
Disables the 8-band equaliser for the selected output.
Default value:
‘Enabled’
6. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
7. If ‘Enabled’ has been selected, then a sub-menu will be displayed which allows the user to scroll
through the equaliser bands, and to configure the relative gain of each band.
Move to, and scroll the band list until the required band is displayed in the left field:
[125Hz] 0
Default value:
125Hz
Possible values: 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz, 16kHz
