Analog Output Testing

1. Connect a meter to the channel to be tested. Figure 7–11 shows the
analog output pins and Table 7–4 identifies the associated channels.
2. From the Main Menu, choose Diagnostics > Test Analog Outputs .
The Test Analog Outputs screen appears.
3. Press to scroll to the desired channel corresponding to the rear
panel terminal pins where the meter is connected, and press .
The Set Analog Outputs screen appears.
4. Press to set the output to zero.
The Output Set To line displays Zero.
5. Check that the meter is displaying the zero value. If the meter reading
differs by more than one percent of the full-scale output, the analog
outputs should be adjusted. Refer to the “
Analog Output Calibration ”
procedure that follows.
6. Press to set the output to full-scale.
The Output Set To line displays Full-Scale.
7. Check that the meter is displaying a full-scale value. If the meter
reading differs by more than one percent of the full-scale output, the
analog outputs should be adjusted. Refer to the “
Analog Output
Calibration ” procedure that follows.
8. Press to reset the analog outputs to normal.
