Turn the Heater OFF: From the Main Menu, choose Instrument
Controls > Set Heater >

Control

. Use

until the value

reads OFF, and press

Disconnect RH/temperature connector.

From the SHARP MIB Board J1, remove the five socket-heads from
the top end cap and lift off.

Remove sealing gasket (note: may be stuck to bottomside of top-end
plate).

Carefully vacuum out optic chamber.

Re-assemble in reverse order—note careful placement of the sealing
gasket.
