MONITORS AND KEYBOARDS
For the standard machine configuration, the monitor and bezel keyboard are
mounted at the upper front of the machine. With the fixed or remote
terminal option, an additional monitor and keyboard may be mounted above
the elevators or on a mobile cart. Selection of the active keyboard is made at
a switch located at the rear of the machine on the electrical cabinet.
KEYBOARDS
Two keyboards are available with the 6DS-SP, a flat panel mounted on the
bezel of the monitor or a PC (personal computer) style enhanced keyboard.
Either keyboard cable plugs into the extender cable connection centrally
located on top of the machine cabinet. Only one of the two keyboards can
operate at a time.
To switch keyboards, shut the machine power OFF, plug in the desired
keyboard, and then power UP again.
