4. Calculate the DEAD WEIGHT:
DEAD WEIGHT = .66 + Conditioning Device Weight
(from above)
Example:
DEAD WEIGHT = .66 + 1.5
DEAD WEIGHT = 2.16
5. At the Calibration/Configuration Menu enter the new value for variable
71, conditioning force dead weight.
Example: 2.16
D. TEST THE SCALE FACTOR
1. At Page 1 of the Conditioning/Cleaning Parameters Menu, select
Conditioning Force Units and choose lbs.
Note: If Conditioning Force Units are already set to lbs., skip to Step
2.
2. At Page 1 of the Manual Control Menu, select Bridge Move and choose
Load to move the bridge to load position.
3. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Cond Arm Up/Dn and
choose Up to raise the conditioning arm.
4. Select Cond Arm Move and choose Inner Position to move it to a
position halfway between the edge of the table and the center of the
table.
5. If not already removed, remove the conditioning device by rotating the
twist release.
6. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Cond Arm Up/Dn and
choose Down to lower the conditioning arm.
7. It should now be possible to manually move the conditioning device
quill up and down.
• Manually position the quill vertically approximately halfway
between the top and bottom of its range of movement.
