When to turn off the system
Turn the system off unless you expect it to be used
within the next eight hours.
Warning: Be sure to follow the instructions below when
turning off the system. Failure to do so may result in loss
of data.
How to turn off the system

Log out as described on page 3-8 to display the Log In
dialog box.

Choose the Quit button from the Log In dialog box to
close the ID-4000 application.

Exit from Windows with one of these methods:
•
Double click on the Control-menu box (in the upper left
corner of the Program Manager window), then choose
the OK button from the Exit Windows dialog box.
•
Pull down the Windows Program manager File menu,
choose Exit Windows, then choose the OK button from
the Exit Windows dialog box.
•
Press ALT+F4, then choose the OK button from the Exit
Windows dialog box.
