Using import templates
If you are likely to import data again from a similar file,
you can save the mapping “blueprint” you create as a
template. In future import sessions, you can open the
template to map the source fields to the destination
fields.
Saving a template
To save your mapping specifications, choose Save
Template from the Import Tool window to display the
Import Template window.
This template window contains all the specifications for
the import process you just completed.
Choose OK to save it, or Cancel to quit the window
without saving the template.
Using a template
To apply a template to a source file:

Choose Open Template from the Import Tool window.
This displays a dialog box listing all template files in the
current directory.

Choose the drive, directory, and name of the desired
template, then choose OK to display the template.
