Card history operations
The optional ID-4000 card history database contains a
record of every ID-4000 transaction that affects an
applicant record. When a badge is issued or reissued to
an applicant, for example, a record is created in the card
history database.
Each record in the card history database is a duplicate of
a record in the applicant database, but without a portrait
or other images. Unlike applicant records, card history
records also contain data about the type of transaction,
the date and time of the transaction, and the user who
was logged onto the system during the transaction.
If you have the required access privileges, you can
search and retrieve records from the card history
database using the methods described in Chapter 4 for
the applicant database. After you retrieve the desired
card history records, you can view or delete them. If your
system has the optional report-writing utility, you can
also create, view and print card history data reports.
