Batch operations
In some situations, it may be more convenient or
efficient to perform some operations in batches rather
than one at a time. The batch-operation functions of the
ID-4000 permit the following batch procedures:

Badge printing
•
Bar-code label printing
•
Magnetic stripe encoding
•
Dossier printing
Batch operations consist of two major steps: (1) selecting
the records for the batch operation, and (2) executing the
batch operation.
Selecting records for
batch processing
All ID-4000 batch operations listed above start with the
following steps for selection of the records to be batch
processed:

If the Data Entry window is not on the screen, start the
ID-4000 and log in, or choose the Exit button until the
window appears.
