Choose an operator from the center column.
For example, choose EQUAL TO if you want to retrieve
any record with the selected field exactly matching a
value to be specified in step 5. Choose NOT EQUAL TO
to retrieve any record with the specified field not
matching the value.
When you choose an operator, it appears in the
horizontal bar following the field name.
Note: If you chose a date field in step 3, the Date
Selection dialog box opens when you choose the
operator. Use this box to specify the current date,
tomorrow’s date, yesterday’s date, or a specific date.
Then choose OK to display the specified date in the
horizontal bar following the field name.

Type a value to be matched, not to be matched, or to
define the limit of a range in the Field Value box.
For example, type
Smith in the Field Value box if you
chose EQUAL TO in step 2 and you want to retrieve all
records with “Smith” in the last name field.
Then press the TAB key to display the value in the
horizontal bar following the operator.
