Problem
Error code
No Origin signal
6201
There was no origin signal input during ori-
gin search.
When ORIGIN SEARCH is executed while
the CW/CCW limit input is ON, the origin
signal is already ON at the initial position.
The origin signal is not detected between
CCW and CW limits.
Check origin signal wiring and sig-
nal type (N.C. or N.O.).
Origin signal error
6202
Feeding was stopped by origin signal input
during ORIGIN SEARCH before the prox-
imity speed was reached, i.e., the proximity
signal and origin signal are too close rela-
tive to the time required for deceleration
from high speed to proximity speed.
Check position of origin signal and
proximity signal relative to required
deceleration.
Error stop at CW
limit
6400
CW limit signal was input while feeding
counterclockwise.
Check wiring of limit signals.
Error stop at CCW
limit
6401
CCW limit signal was input while feeding
clockwise.
Check wiring of limit signals.
Speed change error
6700
Feeding has been stopped during pulse
output following CHANGE SPEED because
an alarm was generated for the next target
speed.
CHANGE OVERRIDE was executed during
pulse output, but it was invalidated be-
cause of alarm data.
Check speed data. If problem is
corrected, this error code will be
cleared by the next START.
Multiplex Axis Start
8000
More than one command bit has been set
simultaneously.
The external input protect was executed
during operation.
Check program. This error code will
be cleared when every command
bit in word m+1 goes to 0 (and, if
applicable, when the external input
protect is turned OFF).
This error code will be cleared only
when the external input protect
command is OFF and when all
command bits of m+1 words are set
to 0.
Error occurred dur-
ing EEPROM Read/
Write
8001
A command was received during EEPROM
reading or writing.
Execute the command again after
the EEPROM reading or writing has
been completed.
Start position data
address error
8100
The initial positioning action number enable
bit (bit 01 of word m+1) is ON, but the initial
position action number set in bits 11 to 00
of word m+2 is outside of the range (0 to
499).
Check program. If problem is cor-
rected, this error code will be
cleared by the next START.
Teaching position
data address error
8200
TEACH was executed but the teaching
positioning action number set in bits 11 to
00 of word m+3 has a BCD error or is out-
side of the range (0 to 499).
Check program. If problem is cor-
rected, this error code will be
cleared by the next TEACH.
Data address error
8305
A data address outside of the defined
range was sent by WRIT (the Intelligent I/O
Write instruction).
Correct the command or data and
send it again. This error will be
cleared when correct data is sent.
Data length error
8306
Data of a length outside of the defined
range was sent by WRIT (the Intelligent I/O
Write instruction).
Data setting timing
error
8307
Data was sent by WRIT (the Intelligent I/O
Write instruction) while the Busy Flag (bit
07 of word s+0) was ON.
Data cannot be transferred during
operation. Resend the data while
operation is stopped.
