9-12 Zones
The ranges for up to eight zones can be set in advance in the parameters. When
the present position enters the range set for one of the zones, the flag for that
zone will turn ON in the Status Area, and the flag will turn OFF when the present
position leaves the zone. Zones can be set to cover a wide range of positions or
narrowed to cover only part of a single positioning action. Only zones 0 to 2 are
shown here, but the operation is the same for zones 3 to 7. Although this ex-
planation is made with respect to the X-axis, the operation is the same for the Y
axis of the NC211.

Zone ranges can be set to span multiple positioning actions, or smaller ranges
may be freely set independent of positioning actions, and information can be ob-
tained as to whether the current position lies inside or outside the range
Set the zones in addresses 2013 to 2020 for the X axis and 6013 to 6020 for the Y
axis.
