Actual Operation
In this operation, with the Programmable Controller in RUN or Monitor Mode,
positioning is executed with settings and commands transferred to the Position
Control Unit from the CPU Unit.

1. Transfer the following data settings to the Position Control Unit, by means of
NC Support Tool or the CPU Unit.

instruction to transfer them to the Position Control Unit.

Trial Operation Example
In this example, origin search and jogging operations are executed with the Pro-
grammable Controller in Program Mode.

1. Set the data for origin search and jogging. It may be possible to use the de-
fault settings, but if they need to be changed then use the NC Support Tool to
change them and transfer the new settings to the Position Control Unit. The
following parameter settings are required for origin search and jogging.
Origin search direction, origin return signal, origin proximity signal, origin search
method, origin search pattern, origin search mode
Origin search proximity speed number, origin search high speed number, low-
speed jogging speed number, high-speed jogging speed number, pulse output
selection, speed data set for speed numbers
Origin search acceleration/deceleration pattern number, high-speed jogging ac-
celeration/deceleration pattern number, acceleration/deceleration pattern data
set for acceleration/deceleration pattern numbers
