Execution Example
When the READ ERROR command bit (bit 05 of word m+1/m+5) is turned ON,
the error code (word s+1/s+9) in the Status Area is refreshed. The Busy Flag will
not turn ON. The error code will be defined when the Read Error Completed bit
(words s+6/s+14, bit 04) turns ON. The following diagram shows an example in
which first the alarm code 1201 and then the error code 5000 are displayed.

Note When either axis is in the middle of data transfer or when the Busy Flag is turned
ON, the latest error code may not be read because a new error may occur during
data transfer or axial movements.

To clear an alarm, for example, correct the data that caused the alarm. To clear
an emergency stop, clear the external emergency stop signal and then execute
the RELEASE PROHIBIT command and perform an origin search.

RESET PRESENT POSITION
The RESET PRESENT POSITION command bit is bit 08 of word m+1. When
this bit is turned ON (

), the present position is forcibly reset to the value set in
parameter addresses 2022 (X axis) and 6022 (Y axis). Although the operation is
explained here in terms of the X axis, the operation is the same for the Y axis of
the NC211.

(Y axis).
