Note Either 0 to 3 or 4 to 7 can be used as the Y axis sign during interpolation. This
applies only to the NC211.

•
The absolute value indicates a distance from the 0 point (origin).
•
The incremental value indicates a distance from the present value.
•
In the case of the single-axis end point, the X axis and Y axis operate indepen-
dentl. (This applies only to the NC211.)
•
In the case of the interpolation end point, it operates along the linear line con-
necting the present value and the target value. (This applies only to the
NC211.)
•
When setting the incremental value, the sum of the present position and the
incremental value should fall in a range from --9999999 to 9999999 assuming
that the CW direction is “+” and CCW direction is “--.”
5-3-2 Settings for Linear Interpolation (Only for the NC211)
•
Interpolation end-point data is set by specifying 4 to 7 for the X-axis target posi-
tion sign. The corresponding Y-axis address is found by adding 4000 to the X-
axis positioning action address.
•
Interpolation is started by turning ON the X-axis START command. Only inde-
pendent Y-axis operation is started by the Y-axis START command.
•
The initial position address, initial speed, acceleration/deceleration pattern,
positioning action target speed, output code, and dwell time are all determined
by the values set for the X axis.
•
When interpolation is being used, operation will not be possible with a continu-
ous completion code (2) for just one axis or with a bank end completion code
