36.11.3.2 FIR3 Function Descriptor
The FIR3 function descriptor is shown in Figure 36-15.
The status and control bits (at offset 0x00) are described in Table 36-2. The FIR3 parameter
packet consists of seven 16-bit entries and is described in Table 36-12.
36.11.3.3 FIR3 Applications
The FIR3 with the real output is used in echo cancellation (see Figure 36-16); using the
complex output implements an equalizer.
