6092h Feed Constant
Short description
Specification of the feed constants. The feed constant defines the distance in e.g. millimetres that a linear axis travels per one
drive shaft revolution. For spindle drives, this value is also called spindle pitch.
The Feed Constant is defined by specifying the feed rate (6092h:01) and the number of motor or gear shaft revolutions
(6092h:02).
For a positioning in the 100ths range (0.01), the sub-index 6092h: 01 "Feed" and all objects with acceleration, speed and
position specifications must be multiplied by the factor 100.
If a gear is used, the transmission ratio must be entered in sub-index 6092h: 02 "Shaft Revolutions".
