12.14 Replacing a Precooling Module

Prerequisites

●

A precooling module needs to be replaced.

●

A spare precooling module of the same model is available and functional.

●

Tools: protective gloves, Phillips screwdriver.

Procedure

Step 1 On the home screen of the display module, tap Shutdown and turn off the unit

switch in the PDF.

NO TICE

Exercise caution because the unit is still energized after it is shut down on the

home screen of the display module.

Step 2 Open the maintenance door to the precooling module.

Figure 12-27 Opening the maintenance door

Step 3 Remove the sheet metal securing the water distributor of the precooling module

and the water pipe, and replace the water distributor as required.
