Correcting the Curl of Outputs
When the optional Finisher D4, Finisher D4 with Booklet Maker, Finisher D5, or High
Capacity Stacker is installed, outputs may be curled. In such case, you can correct the curling
of the output by pressing the De-Curl button.
The De-curl button functions when the machine is in operation or idle as long as its power is
on.
The following shows the reference for the procedure.
Note
•
To change the curling correction mode while the machine is in operation, press the De-curl button
and then the change will be applied to the output immediately after the De-curl button is pressed.
•
Pressing the <Clear All> button on the control panel cannot change the curling correction mode.
•
The machine comes equipped with the Paper Curl Adjustment feature, allowing you to register
Paper Curl Adjustment types on the control panel then assign them to a custom paper or a paper
tray. The Paper Curl Adjustment feature can be used in conjunction with the hardware buttons
described in this section. For details on the Paper Curl Adjustment feature, refer to "Adjust Paper
Curl" (P.717).
