How to Remove the Removable Media Drive Panel
1.
Loosen the two captive screws that hold the back of the
panel to the standoffs.
2.
Loosen the two captive screws that hold the panel to the
front of the chassis.
3.
Disconnect the internal SCSI and power cables from the
drive, if a drive is in the panel.
4.
Lift the back of the panel up from the standoffs.
5.
Lift the panel away from the system unit.
How to Install the Removable Media Drive Panel
1.
Pass the ends of the internal SCSI and power cables
through the hole near the back of the panel.
2.
Position the panel on the system unit. Carefully align the
five tabs along the bottom of the removable media drive
panel with the five slots along the front of the system unit
chassis. Position the back of the removable media drive
panel so that the two captive screws on the back of the
panel are over the standoffs.
3.
Tighten the captive screws into the standoffs.
4.
Tighten the two captive screws that hold the panel to the
front of the system unit chassis.
