How to Remove a Removable Media Drive
1.
Disconnect the SCSI and power cables that are attached to
the drive.
2.
Loosen the four captive screws that hold the drive. If you
cannot loosen the screws by hand, remove the panel and
use a screwdriver to loosen the screws. Refer to ‘‘Removing
and Installing the Removable Media Drive Panel’’ on page
6-9 for directions.
3.
Grip the front of the drive and slide the drive out of the
panel.
Figure 6-5 shows how to remove a removable media drive.
