To Interpret Memory Test Error Messages
The numbers following the word
bank
in the memory test error
message indicate which memory module reported the error.
The first number after the word
bank
is the slot number of
the problem module.
The code after the slot number indicates which memory
module in the slot reported the error.
If the code after the slot number is D16-31, the problem
module is the one farthest from the power supply.
If the code after the slot number is D0-15, the problem
module is the one nearest to the power supply.
