Configuring a Cisco TelePresence Device
Configuring a Cisco TelePresence Device
Note
You must restart your system after you have completed the configuration tasks in this section. See
Saving
Your Settings
for more information.
To configure a Cisco TelePresence device, perform the tasks in this section. When you are finished
configuring your settings, click Save and follow the prompts to restart the system.
Before You Begin
In the Phone Configuration window, verify that the Phone Type and Device Protocol lists contain the
following information:

Phone Type—Cisco 7970 or Cisco 7975
•
Device Protocol—SIP

Device Information
To configure device information, enter information into the fields using the information in
Table 1-1
as
a guide. Click Save to save your settings.

Communications Manager and lists the registered Cisco Unified CM address.
IP Address

Cisco Unified IP Phone IP Address. Click on the address to see information for that

View-only field showing the status of the active load.

Available on the Cisco Unified IP Phone but not available on the CTS.
MAC Address
Yes
MAC address for the Cisco TelePresence primary codec.
