Click Open a Shared Calendar … and enter the room name. The room calendar appears in the
People’s Calendar in the left pane.

Right-click on the room name and select Properties.

Click the Permissions tab.

Click Add and select the
ctsmanaccount
account name.
g.
Choose Permissions > Permission Level and select Reviewer from the drop-down menu.
h.
Choose Permissions > Read and check Full Details.
i.
Click OK.

Repeat these procedures for each Room that will be managed by the CTS Manager.
Step 13
Disable Form-based authentication (FBA). FBA is enabled by default in Microsoft Exchange 2007 and
must be disabled for Cisco TelePresence Manager to function. Disable FBA by completing these steps:
a.
Choose EMC > Server Configuration > Client Access > Outlook Web Access > Exchange
(Default Web Site) > Properties > Authentication.
b.
Select Use one or more standard authentication method.
c.
Check one or both of the following check-boxes:
•
Integrated Windows Authentication
•
Basic Authentication (password is sent in clear text)
d.
Click OK when the warning dialog box alerts you that IIS restart is required.
e.
Enter the following command to initiate the restart:
iisreset /noforce
Or
f.
Go to Services Manager and restart IIS Admin service.
Step 14
Open IIS Manager and enable WebDAV by completing these steps:
a.
Go to Internet Information Services > server_name > Web Service Extension
b.
Select WebDAV and click the Allow button if “Prohibited” appears in the Status box.

Repeat these steps for the “Default Web Site” setting:

Verify that the Web Sites Authentication Method is configured correctly for “EWS” web site by
completing these steps:
a.
From IIS Manager, go to Internet Information Services > server_name > Web Sites > Exchange.
b.
Right-click on Exchange and select Properties.
c.
Go to Directory Security > Authentication and access control and do the following:
•
Click the Edit button
•
Check one or both of the following authentication access methods:
—Integrated Windows Authentication
—Basic Authentication (password is sent in clear text)
•
Click OK.
d.
This steps is required only if you need to configure CTS- Manager with the non-secure binding to
the Exchange server: In the Secure Communications section, enter the following:
