This protection is enabled if the controller acquires the measurement of the coolant
temperature (directly from the ECU of the engine or if one of the analogue inputs of the
controller is configured to acquire such measure - function AIF.1110 or AIF.1111 in parameter
P.4009 or equivalent for the other inputs) and if a time other than zero has been set for the
protection (parameter P.0336). It is only enabled if the engine has been started by the
controller (if the command for the fuel solenoid is activated) and is disabled in the engine
start/stop phases. It is activated if the temperature remains continuously above or equal to
threshold P.0335 for time P.0336, but only after the time P.0216 (oil mask) from engine start
has elapsed (this is to allow you to start the engine idle, to cool it off).

This protection is enabled only when one of the digital inputs of the controller is configured to
acquire the external maximum coolant temperature contact (function DIF.4232 -
“Max coolant
temperature”) (in parameter P.2001 or equivalent for the other inputs) and if a time other than
zero has been set for said input (parameter P.2002 or equivalent). It is only enabled if the
engine has been started by the controller (if the command for the fuel solenoid is activated)
and is disabled in the engine start/stop phases. It activates if the input configured is
continuously “active” for the time configured, but only after the time P.0216 (oil mask) from
engine start has elapsed (this is to allow you to start the engine idle, to cool it off).
