Pump Tube Replacement
To shut-down the analyzer:
1.
Replace all reagent containers with distilled or DI water.
2.
Shut off the UV lamp(s) from the Service/Relay test/lamps screen.
3.
Flush the analyzer with the distilled or DI water for 10 minutes.
4.
Shut off the pumps by stopping the analyzer. From the main menu, press
the DOWN button then press the ENTER button.
5.
Disconnect the gas line between the GLS and the IR.
6.
Flow clean, dry nitrogen or purified air through the IR cell to dry and
clean it.
7.
Turn the main power off.

Pump Tube Replacement
Before proceeding with the pump tube replacement, ensure the analyzer has
been flushed with DI water for 20 minutes. Swing out the pump module
assembly by loosening the four captive screws shown in
. The two pump module props will swing down and hold it in this position
for pump accessibility.
Caution: If the analyzer has not
been flushed with DI water for
20 minutes, some acid and
persulfate will still be in the
intake tubes. The acid and
persulfate may spray out when
the tubes are removed. Use
extreme caution!

French, German, or Italian
translations.

You will need a flat–blade screwdriver and tubing loading key to mount the
pump head.
To replace the pump head:
1.
Remove wing nuts from the pump head mounting screws.
2.
Carefully remove the tubing from the barb fittings.
3.
Remove pump heads.
4.
Separate the end bells (the pump head halves). Hold the end bell
containing the rotor.

5.
Loop the tubing tightly around the rotor and firmly hold the free ends in
the tubing grooves.
6.
Insert the smaller prong of the loading key between the rotor and tubing
with the key perpendicular to the flat surface of the rotor. See

7.
Hold the key fully inserted and perpendicular then drag it
counterclockwise completely around the rotor. The key will push the
tubing uniformly into the end bell assembly. Repeat in a clock-wise
direction if necessary. Hold the tubing in the grooves and remove the key.
8.
Place the other end bell on top and press together. Do not pinch the
tubing. If the end bells do not snap together tightly, reload the tubing.
If necessary, turn the key in the slot on the rotor shaft to adjust the tubing.
9.
Insert the key in the slot on the rotor shaft and turn the key to align the
tang on the rotor shaft with the slot in the motor drive shaft. Point the
