Error Message
SPAN-6-STATELESS_SWITCHOVER: Span is starting stateless after
switchover.
Explanation
Active sessions are not preserved across switchover. Span is starting stateless and the
configuration will be reapplied to get back the active configuration.

Error Message
STP-2-BLOCK_BPDUGUARD: Received BPDU on port [chars] with BPDU Guard
enabled. Disabling port.
Explanation
A BPDU was received in the interface specified in the error message that has the
spanning tree BPDU Guard feature enabled. As a result, the interface was administratively shut
down.
Recommended Action
Either remove the device sending BPDUs or disable the BPDU Guard feature.
The BPDU Guard feature can be locally configured on the interface or globally configured on all
ports that have portfast enabled. After the conflict has been resolved, re-enable the interface by
entering the <CmdBold>no shutdown<NoCmdBold> command in interface configuration mode.
