7.3.2 Multi-Camera Installations
The difference between single-camera and multi-camera studios is that the three wires
leaving the RS-232 to RS-485 converter need to be multiplied to go to each head. This
can be done with a multiplexer, or by splicing wires together. The 485 Multiplexer sends
all 5 wires to each head, 3 for communication and 2 for power.
The multi-camera set-up is illustrated below:
