7.20.2 Starting/Stopping the Stream   

1.

 Once all the settings have been 

confirmed, under the Output section 
click on the 

Connect 

button to 

establish a remote connection to your 
CDN, as shown on the right. 

2.

 Once you are ready to begin 

streaming to the Internet/CDN, click 
on the green 

Start 

button at the 

bottom of the screen, as shown on the 
right. 

 The screen will change to show 

logging information and the Start 
button will change to a Stop button, as 
shown on the right.  

 You are now streaming the Program 

output from the Broadcast Pix system 
to your CDN. If you do not see the 
output on your CDN ensure that the 
settings above match the 
recommended settings provided by 
your CDN,  

3.

 To stop the stream, click on the red 

Stop 

button.  

NOTE:

 It is not recommended to view the final stream live on the Flint Server as it may exhibit performance 

issues. Depending on your connection speed, there will be a delay from the time video is encoded on the Flint 
System to the time it is seen on your CDN, from several seconds to a few minutes.
