The Broadcast Pix system contains a two channel clip store. Clips are imported into the
Server and then selected like a still image for playout. All clips must be compressed as a
QuickTime movie file encoded as a H.264 wrapped as a .mov or .mp4 extension or Apple
ProRes wrapped in a .mov extension or Avid DNxHD wrapped in a .mov extension. Clips
can play with or without audio. The clip store supports the H.264 Main Profile (MP) level
4.2 standard with a maximum bitrate of 90 mbits/second.
As an option, the Broadcast Pix system can also control external DDRs/Servers, as
described in section 6.5.
