Lowering the Thigh Section Using the Patient Controls
• On the nurse control, make sure the knee ON/OFF switch is in the ON
position.
• Push the knee down arrow on the patient control panel located on the
siderail.
• Release the knee down arrow when the desired position is reached. The
thigh section will lock in place.
Electric Stretcher Manual Thigh Articulation
The thigh section can be manually articulated by turning the right crank handle
located at the foot end of the stretcher.
Raising the Thigh Section Using the Manual Crank Handle
• Pull the right crank handle from its stored position, and lock it into the
cranking position.
• Turn the crank handle clockwise until the desired position is reached.
• Store the crank handle after use by rotating it in toward the head end of the
stretcher.
Lowering the Thigh Section Using the Manual Crank Handle
• Pull the right crank handle from its stored position, and lock it into the
cranking position.
• Turn the crank handle counterclockwise until the desired position is
reached.
• Store the crank handle after use by rotating it in toward the head end of the
stretcher.
Surgical Stretcher Articulating Head Section Positioning
• Press the push handle release on either side of the head section.
• Use your other hand to position the head section upward or downward,
tilted forward or back. When the desired position is reached, release the
push handle.
