Reduced Braking Ability
1. The stretcher is a PC-100/PC-200 Series Procedural stretcher.

2. The brake/steer pedal locks into the brake position.

Check the brake/steer link (B) at the head and foot ends of the
stretcher for proper orientation (see figure 2-3 on page 2-36).
Adjust the brake/steer link (B) orientation if necessary, and
tighten the brake/steer link screw (A). If this solves the problem,
go to “Final Actions” on page 2-32. Otherwise, continue to
step 3.
3. When each brake/steer pedal is activated, each hex rod (C) rotates 45° in
either direction from neutral.

stretcher for proper orientation. Adjust the brake/steer link (B)
orientation if necessary, and tighten the brake/steer link
screw (A). If this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on

5. The brake/steer pedal locks into the brake position.
