2.15 Manual Back Articulation
1. The crank handle is attached to the back screw assembly and engages the
shaft mechanism.

Attach the crank handle, and go to “Final Actions” on page 2-32.
2. Turning the crank handle elevates the thigh section.

Another part of the stretcher interferes with the back screw
assembly. Eliminate the interference, and go to “Final Actions”
on page 2-32.
3. Releasing the crank handle allows the back section to remain firmly in
place.

Replace the back screw assembly. If this solves the problem, go
