Lowering the Back Section Using the Patient Controls
• On the nurse control, make sure the head ON/OFF switch is in the ON
position.
• Push the head down arrow on the patient control panel located on the
siderail.
• Release the head down arrow when the desired position is reached. The
head section will lock in place.
Electric Stretcher Manual Back Articulation
The back section can be manually articulated by turning the left crank handle
located at the foot end of the stretcher.
Raising the Back Section Using the Manual Crank Handle
• Pull the left crank handle from its stored position, and lock it into the
cranking position.
• Turn the handle clockwise until the desired position is reached.
• Store the crank handle after use by rotating it in toward the head end of the
stretcher.
Lowering the Back Section Using the Manual Crank Handle
• Pull the left crank handle from its stored position, and lock it into the
cranking position.
• Turn the crank handle counterclockwise until the desired position is
reached.
• Store the crank handle after use by rotating it in toward the head end of the
stretcher.
