2.13 Electric Stretcher Back Panel Does Not Raise/Lower
Electrically
1. Crank the back panel to a low to mid-height position. This moves the unit
off the limits of the potentiometer and will verify whether the up or down
electrical operations are working.
2. The stretcher has been connected to an external power supply and the
power cord is not damaged.

3. On the nurse control, the head ON/OFF switch is in the ON position, and
the LEDs are lit (see figure 2-2 on page 2-30).

4. Push the head up or down arrow on the patient control switch on both sides
(see figure 2-1 on page 2-28). The head drive operates in both directions
for both sides.

6. The plugs in the control board are all seated properly.
