Siderail Function
24. Raise and lower the siderails. The siderails raise and lower without
binding, excessive force is not required to raise or lower siderails, and the
latch locks into position.

Patient Controls Function
25. Raise the siderails, and lock into position. Push the head up arrow on the
patient control switch located on the siderail (see figure 2-1 on page 2-28).
The back section rises smoothly without binding.
