18.5.1
Setting the Module Stop Function
The CMT can be enabled or disabled using the module stop control register. The CMT is disabled by default. The
registers can be accessed by canceling the module stop state. For details, see section 8, Low Power Consumption.
18.5.2
Conflict between Write and Compare-Match Processes of CMCNT
When the compare match signal is generated while writing to CMCNT, clearing CMCNT has priority over writing to it.
In this case, CMCNT is not written to. Figure 18.5 shows the timing to clear the CMCNT counter.

Conflict between Write and Count-Up Processes of CMCNT
Even when the count-up occurs while writing to CMCNT, the writing has priority over the count-up. In this case, the
count-up is not performed. Figure 18.6 shows the timing to write the CMCNT counter.
