Manual Allocation Using the Edit Window
Edit Button on an I/O Allocation Tab Page
Use the following procedure to allocate manually using the Edit Window.
1. Select the device for which you want to edit the I/O allocation.
2. Click the Edit Button.
3. The Edit I/O Allocation Dialog Box will be displayed. Examples are shown below.
Specify Block 1 or 2, the allocated word, start byte (low byte:
Low , high byte: High ), and the number of allo-
cated bytes ( occupied) .
Specify the start word to allocate and the number of allocated bytes.
Byte location (i.e., high/low) can also be specified with the allocated word setting. When the number of allo-
cated bytes is 2 bytes or more, you must specify
Low .

4. Click the OK Button to perform the I/O allocation.
